Smelling Good While Sleeping or on the Move
Do you ever think about the scents surrounding you when it is bedtime? Do you ever put on your gown or pajamas
over a body wrapped in a lovely fragrance?
Many of us have perfumes or colognes given to us as gifts that are probably
not our favorites, or we have left them on the shelf for a long time. Instead of discarding the unwanted fragrances,
we should pour them in the bath water and step out of the tub, as some people would say, smelling like a rose. This
pleasant scent will penetrate your night clothes and your sheets. A good night’s sleep is surely ahead simply
because your sense of smell has been pleasantly satisfied. After you have gotten yourself ready for bed and decide to
sit in your easy chair and read a while before crawling under the covers,
why not use a small portion of that unwanted
fragrance as an air freshener for your room?
You will not only have sweet dreams. You will also awaken to sweet
smelling surroundings.
What about your hair? Does it smell nice when people draw close to you? There
are many shampoos with lovely soft fragrances on the market today. Many people, both
men and women, wash their
hair at night and many do so in the morning before going out for the day. Washing your hair at night adds to the pleasant
scents surrounding you at bedtime. If you use a fragrant shampoo in the morning, the scent should compliment
the
designer fragrance you wear during the day or evening. It is a wonderful feeling to have someone comment on how nice
you smell, or to give you a big hug and make a comment about how nice your hair smells.
Are you one of those who
still use handkerchiefs instead of Kleenex tissues? If you simply place a small dab of your favorite perfume or cologne
on a corner of your handkerchief and place it in your purse, you will find opening your purse to be a “sweet smelling”
experience. The same is true when placing the perfumed handkerchief in a coat or jacket pocket.
Wearing
your favorite designer fragrance with that “special” lovely dress or suit will certainly make you feel real good
about yourself. Yes, you will walk with confidence.
When you leave the place where you were and someone who knows
you enters the same place later will certainly comment that “you” have been there. They will remember your
fragrance.
